Why become a Corporate Donor?
Team Only Stronger has shown exceptional commitment by being the leading example in the fight against the stigmas of childhood abuse and trauma. As a victim of multiple felony counts of childhood sexual abuse and molestation at the age of 5, Arienne and Gary Mabalot have shared their story with thousands of community members and local organizations in hopes to raise awareness about the common but underestimated prevalence in households across the community. This innovative approach has set a new standard for raising awareness, demonstrating that vulnerability and courage to speak up can play a critical role in solving community issues associated with childhood abuse.
Since the inception of Team Only Stronger in 2021, we have seen significant positive outcomes. Attendees and listeners report gratitude for awareness, increased vigilance, higher confidence to speak up, and a greater ability to stay resilient. Among the many positive outcomes, the resilience of Arienne is the most significantly recognizable. Statistics show that the effects of child sexual abuse can be long-lasting and affect the victim’s mental health and self-esteem. Through her commitment to Team Only Stronger and their mission, Arienne is thriving in all aspects of her life despite her traumatic history. Going into her first year of middle school, Arienne has been recognized as one of her elementary school’s top academic scholars and public speakers. She is already a published illustrator and co-author for a children’s book, Warrior Princess Bunny: Tails of Truth, which is used as a communication and education tool to encourage other children to not be ashamed or afraid of speaking up about their experiences. Her courage and resilience speak volumes to the impact that can be made by empowering children to define their own future with strength derived from vulnerability and authenticity.
